Lisa Frizzell, RN
Registered Nurse
Since becoming a nurse in 2008, Lisa has built her career around caring for women and families during some of life’s most meaningful and vulnerable moments. Over the past 18 years, she has worked in acute care bedside, leadership, and nursing education roles, supporting patients and students through a wide range of experiences and transitions in care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing in Clinical Systems Leadership and is passionate about patient advocacy, process improvement, education, and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.
As her career and life have evolved, so has her passion for women’s health. What began in maternal-newborn care has expanded into a deeper interest in hormone health, wellness, and supporting women through perimenopause and beyond. Her own personal experience navigating perimenopause fueled her passion and dedication to helping women feel heard, informed, and supported in their healthcare decisions. She is excited for the opportunity to join Rise Carmel and be part of a team focused on compassionate, holistic care for women.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, who keep the family busy with sports and activities. She also enjoys time with friends, unplugging at their cabin, live music, reading, hiking, and taking advantage of the beautiful area they call home.
