At Rise Carmel, our goal is to provide each patient with the time and attention necessary for personalized, integrative care.
In order to maintain this level of service, we do not accept insurance.
However, we understand that many patients use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to manage healthcare expenses. We may be able to accept HSA or FSA payments.
After your consultation, we will provide documentation of your visit, which you may be able to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Some procedures are not reimbursable by insurance.
Do you provide virtual or telehealth visits?
Virtual appointments are available for California residents only.
Do I need to arrive early to my appointment?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary paperwork or updates to your medical history. This will help ensure that we stay on schedule for your visit
What is your cancellation policy?
At Rise Carmel, we understand that unexpected events may arise, and sometimes you need to reschedule your appointment. To ensure that we can offer the highest level of care to all our patients, we kindly ask for at least 2 business days notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellation and No-Show Fees
• Less than 2 business days’ notice: A cancellation fee of $150 will be charged to your account.
• No-Show (missed appointment without notice): A fee of $150 will be charged to your account.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, depending on the time remaining and our schedule, your appointment length may be shortened in order to avoid delaying subsequent appointments. If this occurs, a cancellation fee may still apply.
Payment of Fees
• Cancellation and no-show fees will be billed directly to your credit card on file.
• These fees are not covered by insurance and are the responsibility of the patient.
What is your payment policy?
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), HSA/FSA cards, cash and checks. There will be a $50 charge for all returned checks.
